IoTHackDay Mission Statement Discussion

Hey, what do people think of this mission statement?

Creating the magic of community, co-opetition, hacking and making at a fun, welcoming hackathon that not only helps people learn and build their projects in one day…but also forms an environment in the weeks building up to the hackathon where everyone is sharing their know-how, creative freedom and tools to work on different projects together.
